Extended Project

On December 18, our Centre hosted a special event titled the “Extended Project”, which became a true celebration of creative thinking, research, and intellectual growth.

This event served as a unique platform for students to showcase their personal interests, academic passions, and approaches to current issues.

Within the framework of the project, upper-grade students prepared long-term research-based projects on topics of their own choosing. Through their presentations, each student not only explained the core idea behind their chosen topic, but also detailed the research process, the outcomes they achieved, and the potential real-life applications of their findings.

Students explored a variety of fields, demonstrating both originality and research capabilities — some focused on social issues, others on technological innovations, while some selected topics in the humanities and sciences, thus creating a rich and diverse exchange of ideas.

The Extended Project was not just an academic presentation — it was a vital step in developing critical and analytical thinking, independent learning, documentation and evidence-based argumentation, public speaking, and self-expression skills. The initiative highlighted students’ abilities not only to gather information but also to interpret, structure, and present it effectively.

Teachers, parents, and invited guests highly appreciated the students' efforts and intellectual maturity. It also provided young researchers with an opportunity to present their potential to a wider audience.

Ultimately, the Extended Project once again proved that when students are given the freedom to think independently and learn creatively, they respond with remarkable skill and deep intellectual curiosity.
