At our school, teaching is delivered in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian. The main aim of our language policy is to ensure that students acquire high-level academic knowledge in a multilingual environment while also developing effective communication skills in different languages.
Taking into account students’ language level, previous educational experience, and individual needs, appropriate language support and personalised development pathways are identified for them. In the language teaching process, internationally recognised CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) standards and the Can Do approach, which makes it possible to measure students’ real language abilities, are used as a basis.
In addition to the main languages of instruction, students are offered opportunities to learn German, Chinese, and other foreign languages. This approach not only expands their language repertoire, but also enriches their understanding of different cultures and their global perspective.
Modern printed and digital teaching resources provided by international publishers are used in the teaching process. These resources support the dynamic and interactive development of students’ language skills and help create a learning experience aligned with modern educational standards.
A multilingual educational environment creates conditions for students to grow as individuals who respect different cultures, think globally, have strong communication skills, and can adapt to the demands of a changing world.
