Kipinä Curriculum
The Kipinä Curriculum is a modern educational model developed in accordance with Finland’s National Early Childhood Education Curriculum and informed by the latest scientific research in child development.

The primary objective of the curriculum is to ensure a successful transition to school through play-based learning while equipping children with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for future educational stages and everyday life.

The Kipinä programme places particular emphasis on each child's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development, recognising individual learning needs and developmental characteristics.
The educational programme encompasses six key areas:
Cognitive development through exploration and play;
Mathematical knowledge and skills;
Literacy, communication, and language development;
Relationships and personal development;
Physical development and health awareness;
Cultural awareness and appreciation of diversity.
All learning outcomes and areas of study within the curriculum support the development of 21st-century skills. Through daily activities, projects, games, and interaction with teachers, children develop critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. This approach fosters innovative thinking and encourages independent learning.
National Curriculum
In the Azerbaijani and Russian sections, primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary education are delivered in accordance with the National Curriculum of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Students receive a structured academic education based on national educational standards. In addition, the enriched programme places special emphasis on English language proficiency, communication skills, leadership development, and 21st-century competencies.
By studying in a multilingual environment and participating in projects, presentations, and various educational activities, students develop self-expression, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills. The programme aims to prepare students for success in both national and international environments.

Bilingual Programme
At the primary level, students receive their core education in Azerbaijani based on the National Curriculum while simultaneously studying subjects aligned with Cambridge content and receiving enhanced English language support.
The Bilingual Programme enables students to build a strong academic foundation in accordance with national educational standards while preparing them for a smooth transition to international programmes. During the primary years, English language instruction and Cambridge-oriented content are gradually increased, with students transitioning to the Cambridge Programme from Grade 5 onwards.
This approach supports the development of a strong academic foundation in the students’ native language while fostering English language proficiency and multilingual communication skills from an early age. The programme prepares students to thrive in an international educational environment while remaining connected to local values and open to the global community.

Cambridge International Curriculum
In the English section, education is delivered through the Cambridge International Curriculum, encompassing the Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS/A Level stages.
The Cambridge Programme provides students with an internationally recognised academic education and prepares them for admission to universities and educational systems around the world. Teaching and learning are centred on inquiry, analysis, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
At various stages, students participate in Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, Secondary Checkpoint, IGCSE, and AS/A Level examinations, earning internationally recognised qualifications. In addition, students sit the graduation examinations administered by the State Examination Centre of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with national requirements.
The Cambridge Programme supports students in becoming academically accomplished, self-confident, globally minded, and critical thinkers who are well prepared for future educational and professional success.
